Body Sense Sales 100 Jars!...It is official! Body Sense
with Aloe Vera has sold over 100 jars since November 2005. Why is this great news? This gives the cream great marketing
leverage -- an ability to be taken to be expanded, building a broader customer base.
ANNOUNCEMENT...Effective August 1, 2007, both the body creams,
Body Sense and Ambiance Delight, will have a new look. This is necessary to increase marketing and promotion opportunities
as the body creams are introduced to a wider customer base.
Price Increase
There will be a slight increase in the cost of the body creams. All body creams will increase from $5.50 plus tax to $6.75
plus tax. And the 2 for $10 will increase to 2 for $12 and added will be the 3 for $15. The new cost will take affect August
1, 2007.
New Payment Policies
New policies have been implemented to help maintain the balance and organization of how payments are received and posted.
In May, Beauty's Essence began using the new accounting software by Microsoft to help create a more extensive database that
will play a major roll in how invoices are prepared and submitted to customers who place mail orders.
Non-mail orders will be handled in a manner that will help monitor customer transactions. Payment will be required on all
orders placed that were not received through the mail. If at the time customer requests order to be shipped, shipping fees
must be paid at that time. A 50% deposit will be required on all orders $50 and over. No acceptions. Full payment must
accompany order form for all mail orders.
This policy is effective August 1 and will help to minimize the number of delayed payments and nonpayments on orders placed,
thus increasing the delivery time since all products are made fresh.
Discontinue of Products
After careful consideration in reviewing the current products menu, an analysis was conducted to determine which products
were necessary to remove from the web site and discontinue. At this time, it has been decided that the body scrubs both brown
sugar and salt will no longer be offered in the product menu on the web site, advertisements and other media forums.
To replace this product, Beauty's Essence is exploring the possibilities of adding facial creams and astringents to the products
menu.
Web Site Changes
To kick off the new fiscal year, Beauty's Essence has added some new flavor to the web site. A Classifieds page and a Shoe
Resource page. It is hoped that with the addition of the new pages, and the membership of blog groups and established resale
accounts, this will help grow and strengthen the overall success of Beauty's Essence.
